Cantina Lunes is the brainchild of our amazing Chef George & Chef Ernesto, our creative culinary team and our hardworking staff. This unique Pop Up Restaurant invades Matty’s every Monday bringing you-our loyal guests- fresh, made from scratch, all natural ingredients blending old world recipes with modern culinary & mixology concepts. We hope you’ll join us every Monday to experience everything we have to offer from our kitchen to your plate.


Chimi Churri Steak Taco- 16.00
Traditional Skirt Steak marinated with from scratch Chimi Churi sauce and topped with cabbage & jalapeno slaw, chipotle aioli and garnished with bacon and avocado slices

Smoked Beef Brisket Taco- 13.50
Our own in house smoked beef brisket topped with queso fresco, cilantro, diced tomato and salsa verde on the side.

Fried Avocado Taco- 12.00
Deep fried avocado in bread crumbs topped with lettuce, onions, pico de gallo, Cotija cheese and micro cilantro served with chipotle aioli

Bourbon Pork Belly Tacos- 12.50
House Braised Pork Belly, bourbon sauce and topped with Chihuahua cheese, onion, micro cilantro and served with pico de gallo

Tinga Chicken Taco- 14.00
Tender chicken stewed and simmered for 6 hours with chipotle peppers, tomatoes, onions and topped with lettuce, sour cream and queso fresco cheese.

Chorizo Taco- 12.25
Pan fried Chorizo and topped with red salsa, grilled pineapple, sliced avocado, Chihuahua cheese and micro cilantro

Seafood Taco
Your choice of fish with avocado, tequila mayo, mango pico de gallo, onion, cilantro and a lime wedge on the side- Shrimp: 12.00 Red Snapper: 15.50 or Perch: 13.75

All Tacos come 3 to a plate with your choice of corn or flour tortillas, from scratch Whole black beans or refried Pinto beans & Mexican rice. Everyone one of our recipes is made to order with fresh, all natural ingredients for each guest, so we ask that there are No Taco Mix and Match substitutions. We suggest ordering a few different plates for your table and sharing!



Homemade Masa Gordidas- 14.25

2 thick homemade tortillas finished off on the grill, topped with braised pork belly, diced potato and grilled cactus hash with onion, queso fresco cheese, cilantro and served with rojo and verde salsa on side and served with Mexican rice and black or pinto beans.

Chicken Sopes- 14.00  Change it up with Steak or Shrimp for 2.00 more

2 thick homemade masa tortillas fried and topped with hand shredded chicken, refried beans, lettuce, tomatoes and queso fresco cheese with rice, your choice of whole black beans or pinto refried beans and sides of verde salsa and sour cream.

Carne Asada- 14.50
Traditional Skirt steak marinated in orange juice, coca cola, garlic, onion and topped with pearl onions with fresh fried jalapenos on the side with micro cilantro rice, grilled cactus hash and whole black beans or refried Pinto beans.

Tinga Chicken Tostada(2)- 13.95

Chicken Stewed and simmered for 6 hours in chipotle peppers, tomatoes, onions, topped with refried beans, lettuce, queso fresco cheese, sliced avocado and sour cream.

Carne Asada Beef Tostada (2)- 14.95
Skirt steak marinated in OJ, coca cola, garlic & onion, topped with refried beans, lettuce, tomato, queso fresco cheese and sliced avocado.

Ground beef tostada (2)- 11.95
Always a classic! Topped with refried beans, ground beef, lettuce, tomato, queso fresco cheese and sliced avocado

All tostadas served with Mexican rice and either Whole Black beans or Refried Pinto beans

Shredded chicken, onions, celery, tomatoes, cilantro and jalapenos in a from scratch broth, topped with fresh fried tortilla strips & sliced avocado- Make it a meal and add a Cheese Quesadilla for an additional 2.00, our version of a Grilled Cheese & Tomato Soup!
